About Us

We got started in outdoor movies because we like to camp. Strange, I know. We have a travel trailer and enjoy camping with other families. The problem comes in when you want to watch a movie. The "living room" area in the travel trailer just isn't large enough for a family of 5 to sit down and watch a movie...comfortably; then add other families and there just isn't enough room. However, there is PLENTY of room outside! So we purchased a small projector, hung a screen from the awning and had our first movie night while camping. It grew into having a backyard movie theater. Having so much fun in our backyard theater, we thought it'd fun to make it mobile. So we purchased an enclosed trailer and a couple inflatable movie screens and Moonlit Cinema was born.
